With over 2,500 miles of coastline the South features beaches of all types, but from St. George Island in northwest Florida, all the way to Gulf Shores, Alabama, one will find sugar white sands and blue-green waters . . . and yes, the sand is that white, and yes, the water is that pretty . . . and yes, there are beaches in Alabama!!!

New Orleans is a city famous for its cuisine, its music, and its many celebrations and festivals, but before we dive into all that we love about the city, let's start with getting there . . . the train is a fun and relaxing way to travel to New Orleans, and if you time it just right, the sun will just begin to set as you make your way across Lake Pontchartrain. We can't wait to get back there, and head to one of our favorite places to eat, which . . . is . . . ??? Coming up on the next edition of Wilmo's Favorites.

He has since joined the dearly departed but it doesn't mean we can't spend the day with Elvis. If at all near Memphis, be sure to make time for Graceland . . . on the National Register of Historic Places, it's a big time for Elvis fans, and for those who simply want to take a step back in time.
